The exercise combines a squat with a knee lift, enhancing lower body strength and stability while also engaging the core. It is beneficial for improving leg power and coordination.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and hands at chest level.
  2. Lower into a squat, keeping the chest up and back straight.
  3. Push through the heels to return to standing.
  4. Lift one knee towards the chest as you stand up.
  5. Return to starting position and repeat with the other knee.
