How to do it

  1. Set your feet shoulder-width apart and grip the barbell with an overhand grip.

  3. Explosively extend your hips and knees, pulling the barbell upwards.
  4. Keep the bar close to your body as you lift, shrugging your shoulders.
  5. Finish with elbows pointing upwards and the bar at chest level.
