The dumbbell split lunge stretch is a dynamic exercise targeting your lower body, enhancing strength and flexibility. It combines the resistance of dumbbells with a stretching movement, improving balance and coordination while effectively working your leg muscles.
How to do it
- Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand.
- Step one foot forward into a lunge position, keeping the torso upright.
- Lower your back knee towards the ground, bending both knees at 90 degrees.
- Hold for a moment, then push back up to the starting position.
- Repeat on the other leg.
