The Smith Machine Incline Tricep Extension targets the triceps by extending the elbows while laying on an incline bench. This exercise provides stability, allowing for focused tricep activation and reducing strain on the shoulders.

How to do it

  1. Set the incline bench under the Smith machine bar.
  2. Lie on the bench with a secure grip on the bar using an overhand grip.
  3. Extend your arms upwards, positioning the bar over your forehead.
  4. Lower the bar by bending the elbows, keeping the upper arms stationary.
  5. Push back to the starting position by extending the elbows.
