The Band Overhead Triceps Extension targets the triceps muscles, increasing strength and tone in the upper arms. Performing this exercise with a resistance band allows for variable resistance and can help improve muscle endurance.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet hip-width apart, securing the resistance band under one foot.
  2. Grip the band with both hands and extend arms overhead with elbows close to the head.
  3. Keeping your elbows in place, extend your arms fully to straighten them.
  4. Slowly return to the starting position by bending at the elbows.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
