The Push-Up with Twist is a dynamic exercise that enhances core strength and stability while targeting the upper body. This variation of the traditional push-up incorporates a rotational movement to engage the oblique muscles, providing a comprehensive workout for the chest, shoulders, triceps, and core.
How to do it
- Start in a plank position with hands shoulder-width apart.
- Lower your body until your chest is close to the ground.
- Push back up while simultaneously twisting your torso to one side, raising the opposite arm towards the sky.
- Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
- Continue alternating sides with each repetition.
