The sliding leg curl on the floor with a towel targets the hamstrings and glutes while engaging the core. It’s a great exercise to build strength and stability in the lower body. The movement involves sliding the feet back and forth using a towel for minimal friction.

How to do it

  1. Lie on your back with your heels on a towel and arms at your sides.
  2. Engage your core and lift your hips to form a straight line from knees to shoulders.
  3. Slowly slide your heels toward your body, bending the knees.
  4. Extend your legs by sliding the towel back to the starting position.
  5. Maintain a lifted hip position throughout the movement.
