The sled wide hack squat targets the lower body muscles, focusing on the quadriceps and glutes. This exercise enhances muscular strength and power in the legs, offering a stable and safe way to practice squats with additional support from the machine.
How to do it
- Position yourself on the sled machine with feet placed wide on the platform.
- Keep your back against the pad and shoulders under the pads.
- Unlock the safety bars, then lower the sled by bending your knees until they are at a 90-degree angle.
- Push through your heels to extend your knees and return to the starting position.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, ensuring control and alignment.
