The cable seated leg extension targets the quadriceps by using a cable machine to extend the leg from a seated position. This exercise isolates and strengthens the quadriceps, enhancing knee stability and leg strength.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the bench with back straight and feet flat.
  2. Attach a cable to an ankle strap and secure it around your ankle.
  3. Extend your leg forward until fully straightened.
  4. Pause for a moment, then slowly return to starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
