The sled reverse hack squat is a lower body exercise that targets the quadriceps, glutes, and hamstrings. It provides an alternative to traditional squats by using a machine that supports the back and shoulders. This exercise focuses on building strength and muscle mass in the legs while minimizing stress on the lower back.

How to do it

  1. Position yourself on the hack squat machine, facing towards the pads.
  2. Place shoulders under the pads and feet shoulder-width apart on the platform.
  3. Push through your heels to extend your legs and lift the sled upward.
  4. Lower the sled slowly by bending your knees, keeping your back straight.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps, maintaining control throughout.
