The 45-degree leg press with a narrow stance focuses on strengthening the quadriceps by pushing a weighted platform with both feet from a seated position. This exercise is beneficial for building lower body strength, particularly targeting the front thighs.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the sled machine, positioning your feet hip-width apart on the platform.
  2. Ensure your back is flat against the seat and grip the handles for support.
  3. Push the platform upward by extending your legs, but do not lock your knees.
  4. Slowly lower the platform back down by bending your knees to return to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
