The sitting neck stretch is a simple exercise designed to alleviate tension and improve flexibility in the neck region. It primarily targets the neck muscles, promoting relaxation and reducing stiffness, which can be beneficial for individuals who spend long hours sitting or working at a desk.

How to do it

  1. Sit comfortably on the floor with legs crossed and back straight.
  2. Place your hands behind your head, gently pulling your head forward.
  3. Keep your chin tucked towards your chest, feeling a stretch along the back of your neck.
  4. Maintain the stretch for 15-30 seconds, breathing deeply.
  5. Slowly release and return to the starting position.
