Sit-Up with Chair Assisted
Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The sit-up with chair assistance targets the core muscles, primarily the rectus abdominis. This variation provides additional support by anchoring the feet under the chair, allowing for a more controlled movement and reducing strain on the lower back.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet under a chair for support.
- Cross your arms over your chest.
- Engage your core, lift your upper body towards your knees.
- Slowly lower back down to the starting position.
- Repeat for desired number of repetitions.
