The Single Leg Push Off is a plyometric exercise aimed at improving lower body power and explosiveness. It involves pushing off one leg onto a raised surface, engaging the muscles in the legs and core, aiding in balance and strength development.

How to do it

  1. Stand facing a bench with feet hip-width apart.
  2. Lift one foot and place it on the bench.
  3. Drive through the heel of the elevated foot, extending the hip and knee to push off.
  4. Land softly back on the ground with the same foot.
  5. Repeat the motion for the desired number of repetitions, then switch legs.
