The Double Pigeon Pose, also known as Fire Log Pose, is a seated yoga position that intensively stretches the hips and groin. This pose helps to increase flexibility and alleviate tension in the hips, making it useful for athletes or anyone with tight hips.
How to do it
- Sit on the floor with your back straight and legs extended.
- Bend your right knee, placing the right shin parallel to your front.
- Bend your left knee, stacking your left shin on top of your right.
- Adjust feet so that they are flexed and aligned with the knees.
- Hold the pose while breathing deeply, then switch legs.
