The exercise involves starting in a kneeling position and leaning back to touch the heels while looking up, providing an intense stretch. It mainly benefits spinal flexibility and stretches the front of the body.

How to do it

  1. Start kneeling on the floor with your legs hip-width apart.
  2. Place your hands on your lower back for support.
  3. Lean back slowly, reaching for your heels with your hands.
  4. Push your hips forward and lift your chest and gaze towards the ceiling.
  5. Hold the position for a few breaths, then carefully return to starting position.
