The single arm push-up on knees is a challenging variation of the traditional push-up that targets unilateral strength and stability. It primarily works the chest and triceps while engaging the core for balance. This exercise is effective for building strength in the upper body and improving muscular coordination.

How to do it

  1. Start in a kneeling position with one hand placed firmly on the ground beneath your shoulder.
  2. Extend your other arm behind your back or at your side for balance.
  3. Keep your body straight from head to knees, then lower your chest towards the ground by bending your elbow.
  4. Push back to the starting position by straightening your arm, keeping your core engaged.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps before switching arms.
