The dumbbell bench press is a strength-training exercise targeting the chest muscles. It enhances upper body mass and strength while improving muscular balance and coordination. This exercise is performed lying on a bench while pressing dumbbells upwards.

How to do it

  1. Lie back on a flat bench with a dumbbell in each hand at chest level.
  2. Ensure your feet are flat on the floor for stability.
  3. Press the dumbbells upward until your arms are fully extended.
  4. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions while maintaining control.
