The Side Walk Tip Toes exercise targets the muscles in the lower body, especially the legs and core, while challenging balance and stability. It engages the quadriceps and glutes as you perform side steps while on tiptoes.
How to do it
- Stand upright on your tiptoes with feet hip-width apart and your hands clasped in front of you.
- Step out to the side with one foot while maintaining your balance on your toes.
- Bring the other foot to meet it, continuing to move laterally.
- Take several steps in one direction, then reverse, keeping core tight.
