Double jump rope is an advanced cardio exercise that enhances cardiovascular fitness and agility. It involves performing two consecutive jumps over the rope in one skip, demanding excellent timing and coordination. This exercise effectively works the lower body muscles while also engaging the core and arms for stabilization.

How to do it

  1. Start in a standing position with feet slightly apart, holding the skipping rope handles.
  2. Swing the rope over your head and jump as it passes under your feet.
  3. Immediately after landing, quickly swing the rope and jump again, completing two revolutions in one jump.
  4. Maintain a steady rhythm and focus on light, quick jumps.
  5. Continue for the desired duration or number of repetitions.
