The Side Plank Scissors exercise is a combination of a side plank and leg scissors movement, primarily targeting the core and obliques. It enhances core stability, balance, and strengthens the hips by engaging various muscle groups.
How to do it
- Start in a side plank position on your right side, supporting your body on your right elbow and forearm.
- Keep your body in a straight line from head to toe, and place your left hand on your hip.
- Lift your top leg upwards in a controlled manner, then lower it back to starting position, maintaining stability and balance.
