The Cable Standing Lift is an exercise that targets the core, particularly the obliques, while also engaging the upper body. It involves lifting a cable from a low to high position across the body, promoting rotational strength and stability.
How to do it
- Stand sideways to the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Grasp the handle with both hands and start with your arms extended toward the cable's anchor.
- Lift the handle across your body while rotating your torso, keeping your core engaged.
- Finish with the handle above your opposite shoulder, keeping arms slightly bent.
- Return to the starting position with control.
