The Cable Standing Lift is an exercise that targets the core, particularly the obliques, while also engaging the upper body. It involves lifting a cable from a low to high position across the body, promoting rotational strength and stability.

How to do it

  1. Stand sideways to the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Grasp the handle with both hands and start with your arms extended toward the cable's anchor.
  3. Lift the handle across your body while rotating your torso, keeping your core engaged.
  4. Finish with the handle above your opposite shoulder, keeping arms slightly bent.
