The Seated Shoulder Flexor Depressor Retractor Stretch is perfect for improving posture and relieving shoulder tension. Sit comfortably as you engage your chest and shoulders, encouraging flexibility and strength while reducing stiffness. This stretch improves shoulder mobility and opens up the chest, promoting better breathing and overall upper body function.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the ground with your legs crossed and back straight. Place your hands on the ground slightly behind your body.
  2. Engage your core and straighten your arms, pushing your chest forward. Feel the stretch across your shoulders and chest as your shoulder blades move together.
  3. Hold this position for 20-30 seconds, focusing on your breathing. Release the stretch gradually, allowing your shoulder blades to move apart, and then repeat.
