The seated glute stretch is a flexibility exercise designed to stretch and release tension in the gluteal muscles, improving hip mobility and reducing lower back discomfort.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with legs extended.
  2. Cross one ankle over the opposite knee.
  3. Place hands on the floor behind you for support.
  4. Slowly lean forward, bringing chest towards the legs.
  5. Hold the position, then switch legs and repeat.
