The squat tuck jump is a plyometric exercise that combines a squat and a jump, targeting lower body strength and explosiveness. It enhances power and coordination, providing cardiovascular benefits. It’s an effective exercise for increasing athletic performance.

How to do it

  1. Start in a standing position with feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Lower into a squat, keeping your chest up and knees behind toes.
  3. Explode upwards into a jump, tucking knees towards your chest.
  4. Land softly back into a squat position to absorb the impact.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
