The Dumbbell Plyo Squat is a dynamic exercise that combines strength and explosive power. It targets the lower body, enhancing muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The plyometric component increases power and agility.
How to do it
- Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width, holding a dumbbell with both hands.
- Perform a squat by bending your knees and lowering your hips until thighs are parallel to the floor.
- Explosively jump upwards, extending your legs, while maintaining a straight back.
- Land softly and immediately descend into the next squat.
