The Dumbbell Plyo Squat is a dynamic exercise that combines strength and explosive power. It targets the lower body, enhancing muscle strength and cardiovascular endurance. The plyometric component increases power and agility.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet wider than shoulder-width, holding a dumbbell with both hands.
  2. Perform a squat by bending your knees and lowering your hips until thighs are parallel to the floor.
  3. Explosively jump upwards, extending your legs, while maintaining a straight back.
  4. Land softly and immediately descend into the next squat.
