The Standing Figure Four Pose is a balance exercise that primarily targets the glutes and quadriceps. It helps improve mobility, flexibility, and balance by challenging core stability and focusing on the lower body muscles through a one-legged stance.

How to do it

  1. Stand upright with feet together.
  2. Lift the right leg and place the right ankle on the left thigh, keeping the knee bent outward.
  3. Bring both palms together in front of the chest, maintaining balance.
  4. Engage the core and lower into a slight squat, bending the left knee.
  5. Hold the position, keeping the chest lifted and back straight.
