The Russian Twist Punch is a dynamic core exercise combining rotation and punching movements. It enhances oblique strength and improves rotational power, making it effective for athletes seeking to boost performance in rotational movements.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet lifted off the ground.
  2. Lean back slightly, keeping the back straight and engage the core.
  3. Rotate the torso to one side, simultaneously extending one arm in a punch.
  4. Return to center and immediately rotate to the opposite side, punching with the other arm.
  5. Continue alternating sides in a controlled manner.
