The Medicine Ball Russian Twist (Legs-Up) is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the obliques and rectus abdominis. It also engages the hip flexors and upper body to maintain balance during the twisting motion.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet raised off the ground.
  2. Hold a medicine ball close to your chest, leaning back slightly to engage the core.
  3. Twist your torso to the right, bringing the ball alongside your hip.
  4. Return to the center and then twist to the left.
  5. Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.
