The Medicine Ball Russian Twist (Legs-Up) is a core-strengthening exercise that targets the obliques and rectus abdominis. It also engages the hip flexors and upper body to maintain balance during the twisting motion.
How to do it
- Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet raised off the ground.
- Hold a medicine ball close to your chest, leaning back slightly to engage the core.
- Twist your torso to the right, bringing the ball alongside your hip.
- Return to the center and then twist to the left.
- Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions.
