The Ring Hanging Straight Leg Hip Raise is a core strengthening exercise that targets the lower abdominals and hip flexors. Hanging from gymnastics rings, the legs are raised straight out to engage the core, improving stability and muscular endurance.
How to do it
- Grip the gymnastics rings firmly with palms facing forward.
- Hang with arms fully extended and legs together.
- Engage the core and lift the legs straight up to hip height.
- Control the descent back to the starting position.
- Repeat for desired repetitions, maintaining stability.
