The reverse-grip pull-up, also known as a chin-up, is an upper body exercise that primarily targets the muscles of the back and arms. It involves pulling your body upward with an underhand grip, effectively engaging the biceps and enhancing upper body strength.
How to do it
- Grip the pull-up bar with palms facing you and hands shoulder-width apart.
- Hang with arms fully extended and feet off the ground.
- Pull your chest towards the bar by bending the elbows and engaging the back.
- Slowly lower your body back to the starting position with control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
