The Rear Fly Stepback is an exercise targeting the posterior deltoids and muscles of the upper back while incorporating a step to engage the lower body for balance and coordination.
How to do it
- Stand with feet together holding dumbbells at your sides.
- Step back with one foot while simultaneously lifting the dumbbells out to the sides with straight arms.
- Squeeze shoulder blades together while maintaining a slight bend in the elbows.
- Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
