The Olympic Barbell Hammer Curl is a strength exercise focusing on the arms, enhancing forearm and bicep development. It involves lifting a barbell with a neutral grip, emphasizing the brachialis and brachioradialis alongside the biceps.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding an Olympic barbell with a neutral grip.
  2. Keep your elbows close to your torso and curl the barbell up by flexing your elbows.
  3. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, then slowly lower the barbell back to the starting position.
