The Dumbbell Incline Hammer Curl is an exercise targeting the arm muscles, focusing on increasing strength and size. This exercise is performed on an incline bench, promoting isolated activation of the brachioradialis and biceps brachii, while minimizing shoulder involvement.

How to do it

  1. Sit back on an incline bench with a dumbbell in each hand, arms hanging down.
  2. Keep your elbows close to your body, and palms facing each other.
  3. Curl the dumbbells upward by bending the elbows, keeping your wrists neutral.
  4. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions, maintaining steady control throughout the movement.
