The cable reverse curl is a strength-training exercise targeting the forearms and upper arms. It enhances grip strength and forearm development by requiring a pronated grip, effectively engaging the muscles in the forearm.
How to do it
- Attach a straight bar to a low cable pulley.
- Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms fully extended downwards.
- Grip the bar with an overhand grip, palms facing down.
- Curl the bar towards your shoulders while keeping elbows stationary.
- Lower the bar back to the starting position with control.
