The cable reverse curl is a strength-training exercise targeting the forearms and upper arms. It enhances grip strength and forearm development by requiring a pronated grip, effectively engaging the muscles in the forearm.

How to do it

  1. Attach a straight bar to a low cable pulley.
  2. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, arms fully extended downwards.
  3. Grip the bar with an overhand grip, palms facing down.
  4. Curl the bar towards your shoulders while keeping elbows stationary.
  5. Lower the bar back to the starting position with control.
