The Neck Side Stretch is a simple exercise aimed at relieving tension and improving flexibility in the neck. It targets the muscles responsible for lateral neck flexion, helping to reduce stiffness and increase range of motion.
How to do it
- Stand or sit up straight with feet shoulder-width apart.
- Place your hands behind your back, grasping one wrist with the opposite hand.
- Gently tilt your head to one side, stretching the opposite side of your neck.
- Hold the stretch for a few seconds, breathing deeply.
- Return to the starting position and repeat on the other side.
