The chin tuck against the wall is a postural exercise that helps improve neck alignment and reduce neck tension. It strengthens and stretches the neck muscles, aiding in better posture by aligning the head over the spine. This exercise can alleviate neck pain associated with poor posture.

How to do it

  1. Stand with your back against the wall, feet shoulder-width apart.
  2. Ensure your lower back and shoulders are touching the wall.
  3. Gently tuck your chin in towards your chest, keeping your head in contact with the wall.
  4. Hold the position for a few seconds, maintaining a straight neck.
  5. Relax and repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
