Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The cable seated neck flexion using a head harness is an exercise that targets the neck muscles, specifically working to strengthen and build endurance in the sternocleidomastoid. It involves controlled flexion movements against resistance, helping improve neck strength and stability.
How to do it
- Sit on a bench facing away from the cable machine, secure your feet flat on the ground.
- Attach a head harness to a low pulley and position it comfortably around your head.
- Keep your back straight and slowly lower your chin towards your chest, flexing your neck.
- Return to the starting position under control by lifting your head back up.
- Repeat for the desired number of reps, maintaining proper form throughout.
