Lying floor hyperextensions are a bodyweight exercise focusing on strengthening the lower back and glutes. By lifting the torso off the ground, it enhances spinal stability and posture.
How to do it
- Lie face down on the floor with arms bent and hands by your ears.
- Engage your core and glutes.
- Lift your upper body off the floor, keeping your hips on the ground.
- Hold briefly at the top, then lower back down.
- Repeat for desired repetitions.
