Lying floor hyperextensions are a bodyweight exercise focusing on strengthening the lower back and glutes. By lifting the torso off the ground, it enhances spinal stability and posture.

How to do it

  1. Lie face down on the floor with arms bent and hands by your ears.
  2. Engage your core and glutes.
  3. Lift your upper body off the floor, keeping your hips on the ground.
  4. Hold briefly at the top, then lower back down.
  5. Repeat for desired repetitions.
