The Cat Cow Stretch is a gentle flow between cat and cow yoga poses that enhances flexibility and relieves tension in the spine and torso. It promotes blood circulation while loosening up the back and shoulders, making it an effective warm-up or relaxation activity.

How to do it

  1. Begin on all fours with your wrists aligned under shoulders and knees under hips.
  2. Inhale deeply, arching your back, dropping your belly, and lifting your head and tailbone upward into Cow Pose.
  3. Exhale fully, rounding your spine, tucking in your tailbone and head, pressing through your hands into Cat Pose.
  4. Continue smoothly transitioning between the poses, synchronizing movements with your breath.
