Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The back extension on an exercise ball strengthens the lower back, glutes, and core. This exercise improves posture, enhances spinal stability, and can help reduce back pain by targeting the erector spinae muscles.
How to do it
- Position your hips on the balance ball with your feet anchored on the ground.
- Place your hands gently on the back of your head for support.
- Engage your core and lift your chest off the ball by extending your back.
- Hold the top position briefly, contracting your back muscles.
- Slowly return to the starting position, maintaining control.
