The lying floor fly is an effective chest exercise targeting the pectoral muscles. It involves extending the arms wide while lying on the floor and then bringing them together, which enhances chest muscle engagement and development.
How to do it
- Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat.
- Extend arms straight out to the sides with a slight bend in elbows.
- Slowly bring arms together above the chest.
- Squeeze chest muscles at the top of the movement.
- Return arms to starting position with control.
