Gym Exercise Card
Equipment
The cable lying fly effectively targets the chest muscles by utilizing cables to provide resistance, promoting muscle growth and definition. This exercise helps in isolating the pectoral muscles while also engaging stabilizing muscles to improve overall chest strength.
How to do it
- Set the bench between two cable towers and attach handles to the low pulleys.
- Lie down on the bench with feet flat on the ground, holding the cables with palms facing each other.
- Keep a slight bend in the elbows and open the arms wide until you feel a stretch in your chest.
- Bring the arms back up to the starting position, squeezing the chest muscles at the top.
- Ensure controlled motion throughout to maintain tension in the muscles.
