The Dumbbell Svend Press is an exercise that targets the chest muscles by pressing a weight plate or dumbbell in front while squeezing. It effectively engages the pectorals, enhancing muscle activation through constant tension.

How to do it

  1. Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell at chest level.
  2. Press the dumbbell forward with arms extended fully.
  3. Keep constant pressure by squeezing the dumbbell tightly.
  4. Return to the starting position, maintaining tension.
  5. Repeat for the desired number of reps.
