A lying calf stretch is performed by lying on the back with legs extended vertically upward. It primarily targets the muscles in the calf, promoting flexibility and preventing stiffness.

How to do it

  1. Lie flat on your back with your legs extended upward.
  2. Flex your feet, bringing your toes towards your shins.
  3. Hold the position, feeling a stretch in your calves.
  4. Keep your back straight and relax your shoulders.
  5. Maintain the stretch for 15-30 seconds, then release.
