The Lotus Pose Breathing exercise involves sitting in a cross-legged position, known as the Lotus Pose, focused on controlled breathing. This exercise primarily promotes relaxation, flexibility in the hips and legs, and enhances mindfulness through deep, slow breathing.

How to do it

  1. Sit on the floor with legs crossed, placing each foot on the opposite thigh.
  2. Keep your spine straight and shoulders relaxed.
  3. Place hands on knees with palms facing upwards.
  4. Close your eyes and breathe deeply and slowly.
  5. Maintain the pose, focusing on your breath for several minutes.
