The Crossover Kneeling Hip Flexor Stretch is a flexibility exercise targeting the hip flexors and improving mobility in the hips. It helps alleviate tension in the hip region and can aid in preventing lower back pain. This stretch also enhances overall flexibility and range of motion.

How to do it

  1. Start in a kneeling position with one knee on the ground and the other foot forward.
  2. Cross the forward leg over the opposite knee and maintain balance.
  3. Gently shift your hips forward until you feel a stretch in the hip flexor.
  4. Hold the stretch for 15-30 seconds, then switch sides.
  5. Ensure your back is straight and your core is engaged throughout the movement.
