The Lever Standing Calf Raise focuses on strengthening the calf muscles. This exercise involves standing on the balls of your feet and lifting your heels against resistance, effectively targeting and building the calf muscles, particularly the gastrocnemius and soleus, for improved strength and definition.
How to do it
- Position your shoulders under the pads of a lever standing calf raise machine.
- Place the balls of your feet on the edge of the platform with your heels hanging off.
- Extend your ankles to lift your heels as high as possible.
- Pause at the top, then slowly lower your heels back down below the platform level.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
