The lever seated calf press targets the calf muscles by simulating a standing calf raise but performed seated on a leverage machine. It helps in developing strength and endurance in the lower leg, particularly the calf muscles.
How to do it
- Sit on the leverage machine with your back against the pad.
- Place your feet shoulder-width apart on the platform, with heels extending off.
- Push the platform by extending your ankles to lift the weight.
- Slowly lower your heels back to the starting position while controlling the resistance.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.
