The lever pec deck fly is an isolation exercise targeting the muscles of the chest. It is performed using a machine, helping to focus on the contraction of the chest muscles while minimizing the involvement of the shoulders and triceps.

How to do it

  1. Adjust the seat height so your arms are parallel to the floor when gripping the handles.
  2. Sit down and press your back against the pad.
  3. Bring the handles together in front of you while keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
  4. Pause briefly when the handles meet, feeling the squeeze in your chest.
  5. Slowly return to the starting position, controlling the movement.
