The lever pec deck fly is an isolation exercise targeting the muscles of the chest. It is performed using a machine, helping to focus on the contraction of the chest muscles while minimizing the involvement of the shoulders and triceps.
How to do it
- Adjust the seat height so your arms are parallel to the floor when gripping the handles.
- Sit down and press your back against the pad.
- Bring the handles together in front of you while keeping a slight bend in your elbows.
- Pause briefly when the handles meet, feeling the squeeze in your chest.
- Slowly return to the starting position, controlling the movement.
